GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING ABSTRACTS

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION: MARCH 15, 2024.
DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION: MAY 31, 2024.

  1. Abstracts must be submitted in English and exclusively through the online submission system available on the SLEIMPN website.
  1. Abstracts written in other languages or that do not comply with these rules will NOT be accepted.
  1. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Journal of Inborn Errors of Metabolism and Screening (JIEMS) and it is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that:
  • The format of the abstract adjusted according to the established requirements.
  • A clear, coherent and grammatically correct writing in English for publication.
  • The correct recognition by the system of certain special characters such as Greek letters or symbols for whose correction you can use the information available in the system.
  • All errors present in the Abstract at the time of receipt of the application by its authors will be reproduced as they were uploaded.
  1. Abstracts submitted to the XIII SLEIMPN Congress must be original and therefore must not have been previously or simultaneously presented at other national, regional or international congresses, or previously published in scientific journals.
  1. In order to upload the abstracts into the application system, the corresponding author is required to register for the congress. 
  2. When submitting abstracts, authors should indicate their preference as to the mode of presentation: Oral or Poster.
  3. Abstracts will be evaluated for acceptance by the Scientific Committee, which will have the power to accept them, reject them or request their reformulation as a condition to be evaluated again.
  4. The evaluation of the abstracts will be based on the quality of the abstract, its scientific content and originality, correspondence between objectives, methods and conclusions, and its relevance to the scientific community.
  5. Scientific Research and Case Reports will be accepted.
